Job Description


Provide support for the broker in the management of their portfolio by effective client query resolution and provision of insurance support in all key aspects of their work. Assist with the resolution of client queries on Domestic and Commercial cover, and account queries. Provide assistance to the senior commercial broker with any administrative and business functions as required.

  • Resolve client queries on their commercial fire & general insurance

  • Investigate client accounts to ascertain whether the policy is the right one for the clients. Set fee level within approved discretionary guidelines

  • Check the correct type of domestic cover and level of cover for the client and amend as appropriate

  • Efficient and accurate processing of domestic insurance renewals, endorsements, and cancellations

  • Process renewals, new business, alterations and cancellations

  • Set up new policies, process finance agreements for policies that are paid monthly, send out proposals and follow-up as necessary

  • Work in with the commercial broker to achieve monthly targets

  • Active cross-selling, recognising and sharing new opportunities

  • Maintain strong communication, with the clients and provide competent and reliable advice in the absence of the broker from the office

  • Consistent review of processes to optimise efficiencies.


Requirements


  • Level 5 National Qualification (or working towards)

  • Insurance Industry experience

  • Have a very good understanding of Swift and its various modules including versioning, finance etc

  • Have a good understanding of loading all policy types.
