In this position, 70% to 80% of an applicant’s performance will be measured on the accuracy and effectiveness of financial analysis, loan narrative preparation and support of portfolio management activities. The remaining portion of performance is assessed through participation in formal training and professional development, leadership and community involvement, and completion of special projects as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS YOU POSSESS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent banking experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Business or related field is preferred.
- Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Previous customer service experience
- Basic financial analytical skills
- Planning and time management skills
- Understanding of basic personal computer programs (Internet, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Build and maintain relationships with all customers, prospective customers, team members, and community partners.
- Provide customer service by demonstrating the Landmark National Bank commitment To be champions and catalysts for our communities, which includes assisting experienced bankers meet customer and prospect commercial loan and treasury management needs with a prompt and timely response.
- Perform basic financial analysis and credit underwriting, including spreading financial statements, evaluating cash flow, and assisting in the preparation of loan narratives.
- Support credit administration and portfolio management activities, including covenant tracking, collateral analysis, and adherence to loan policy and compliance standards.
- Assist with loan origination and servicing activities, including supporting new transactions, renewals, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
- Participate in client interactions and relationship management, including preparing for meetings, supporting client communication, and contributing to a high-quality client experience.
- Support sales and business development efforts, including pipeline management, prospecting activities, and identifying opportunities to expand client relationships.
- Participate on a regional loan committee(s).
- Learn and comply with internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies, including regular audits and internal loan reviews.
- Collaborate with your team, other bank divisions, and bank leadership to develop, monitor, and achieve corporate, regional and branch goals.
- Manage your professional development by progressing through and demonstrating key competencies aligned with the program’s training objectives.
- Engage in Landmark National Bank culture initiatives and team success activities, including huddles, weekly meetings, and celebration events.
- Represent Landmark National Bank through community engagement to advance the bank’s reputation both during and after business hours.
- Represent the bank well in the community.
