Consistently delivers the Landmark National Bank promise that “Everyone starts as a customer and leaves as a friend” by providing administrative, operational, and customer support to Commercial Banking Officers throughout the loan origination, documentation, closing, and servicing process. This role helps ensure exceptional customer experience while maintaining compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Loan Processing & Documentation
- Obtain information required for loan origination, including credit reports, appraisals, title work, insurance information, flood determinations, and Secretary of State searches.
- Prepare disbursement worksheets, loan documentation checklists, and related loan documentation.
- Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and comply with bank policies.
- Loan Administration & Monitoring
- Scan and maintain loan documentation in bank systems.
- Monitor exception reports and obtain missing documentation.
- Verify liens are perfected and collateral documentation is properly maintained.
- Customer & Internal Support
- Provide exceptional customer service and support daily loan transactions.
- Serve as liaison between Commercial Banking Officers, Loan Documentation, and Loan Operations.
- Support relationship management activities and ongoing customer needs.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of customer, loan, and bank information in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supports internal and external audit activities by maintaining complete, accurate, and audit-ready loan documentation.

This position is an individual contributor role and does not have direct reports.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanning machine.
QualificationsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
[Non-Exempt] Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday as an eight-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This position occasionally requires overtime.
TRAVEL:
This position occasionally requires local travel.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
- One year of banking experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial lending processes or loan documentation preferred.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Effective planning and priority setting; ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under established deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
