Job Description

- At a high level, the job objectives are, under supervision;
- Maximise commercial performance while managing business/project risk (pre and post-contract)
- Commercialisation of a sub-Business Groups service offerings to support business growth and strategy
- Ensure compliance with relevant commercial/contracting policies
- Resolution of disputes/claims and cash collection issues
- Embedding effective commercial governance and assurance across the sub-Business Group / Project
- Portfolio of Projects
- Supporting the tender governance process for the sub-Business Group
- Promote and demonstrate safety leadership behaviors
- Always act ethically and with the utmost integrity
- Champion and promote the application of the Financial Management Framework guidelines
- Champion and follow the relevant DOA and commercial / contracting policies
- Assists and supports under supervision:
- Pre-award activities including support to the tender governance process, proposals team in terms of performing a commercial review of tender documents, reviewing commercial proposals prior to submission for internal approval, preparing commercial qualifications and pricing notes,
coordinating commercial and contractual qualifications,
- The timely submission of contracting policy approval requests, in conjunction with the Contracts
function
- Main contract administration, including correspondence management, management of change and
the development/implementation of commercial strategies and profit improvement plans in
accordance with client contract(s) and Wood’s policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that contracts are set up correctly in the appropriate business system
- Ensuring that invoices are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and include full contract
entitlement,
- The administrative development and maintenance of Commercial Handovers and Plans
- The development of rates, estimates, pricing, and commercial model
- The administration of risk management processes
- The management and administration of Bonds / LoCs, Collateral warranties and PCGs
- The coordination of contract reviews and the development of qualifications/redlines in conjunction
with the Contracts function
Qualifications:
• 3 A Levels (or equivalent) in relevant subjects e.g. Maths, Law, Business Studies
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Studies preferred, but not required. Knowledge, skills, and experience:
• Working knowledge and experience in Commercial administration and procedures.
