Commercial Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Apprentice Electrician to assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their skills in the electrical trade while gaining hands-on experience in the field. This position is based in Georgia and will require travel.
This is a contract position with the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities
• Assist journeyman electricians with installing and maintaining electrical systems in commercial buildings
• Pull wire, install cable trays, and assist with conduit installation (EMT, PVC, and rigid)
• Help install lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and panels
• Read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical drawings
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site organization
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations
• Support troubleshooting and repairs under supervision
• Ensure work is completed according to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
Qualifications
• OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
• 1–3 years of electrical or construction experience preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
• Basic experience bending conduit
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Ability to pass a background check for military base access
• Ability to pass a drug screening
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor commercial construction environments
