About the Family & Position:

We’re opening our waitlist for an exciting new nanny opportunity in the Indianapolis / Westfield area. This family is relocating back to Indiana in July 2026 and is seeking a warm, experienced, and highly engaging nanny to help support their transition home.

Their oldest child has autism and thrives with a caregiver who understands the importance of significant movement, hands-on engagement, structured routines, and consistent support. The ideal nanny will be proactive in creating a high-movement, outdoor-focused lifestyle with daily activities that help regulate energy, support emotional wellbeing, and encourage development through play and exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, child-focused care for two young children
• Support emotional regulation, structured routines, and positive transitions
• Create engaging daily activities, movement-based play, and enrichment opportunities
• Assist with summer scheduling and outings before school begins
• Manage afternoon school pickups and after-school routines during the school year
• Prepare lunchboxes, backpacks, and children’s items for the following day
• Maintain organization of children’s spaces and routines
• Collaborate closely with parents to create consistency and stability in the home
• Support one child with autism through patience, sensory awareness, and proactive care

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of childcare experience, with a minimum of 1 year of professional nanny experience
• Prior experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory needs, or special needs strongly preferred
• Valid CPR & First Aid certification
• Minimum age: 21 years
• Non-smoker
• Valid driver's license & clean driving record required
• Ability to pass an extensive background check
• Three strong professional childcare references
• Interested in a long-term role and building a meaningful relationship with the family
