The Surgery Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling and preparing documentation for all surgeries to be performed by our practice's physicians. This position requires the candidate to contact patients to review medical history, obtain a current medication list and identify any possible preoperative issues. The Scheduler will schedule patients with the appropriate physician based on procedure, priority and availability. Once surgery is scheduled, the Surgery Scheduler will send out informational packets and preoperative instructions to all patients and answer any questions the patient may have regarding their procedure. This position will also support the check-in/check-out position on a rotational basis.
