Travel Percentage: Road Warrior Job Shift: DayThe Combo Pipe Welder position requires a foundation in Construction drawings, mechanical knowledge, and welding techniques such as Stick and TIG welding. A valid driver's license is required for this position. Individuals will be willing to travel anywhere around the US to different Jobsite locations to perform field installations Responsibilities - Learn and Understand Construction drawings - Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform pipe welding tasks accurately - Demonstrate proficiency in TIG, and Stick welding techniques
Qualifications - Combo Pipe Welder experience in Ammonia preferred, but not required - Ability and readiness to read and interpret Construction Drawings - Proficiency in TIG Stainless Steel Pipe Welding, including welding in multiple positions - Proficiency in Stick Carbon Pipe welding, including welding in multiple positions - Familiarity with ASME codes and standards applicable to welding and piping - Ability, and openness to learn to fit pipe; read P&ID’s, use hand tools; organizational skills, etc - Preferred, but not required experience working in manufacturing and construction environments, following safety protocols - Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines - Physically capable of performing job duties, including lifting, bending, and working in various positions - Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to job sites as required
