INDUS supports the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) by providing technical and logistics expertise in support of NSLC’s mission to develop, maintain, and assess life-cycle logistics support policies, procedures, and data systems. Through this support, INDUS helps bridge the connection between engineering and logistics functions while assisting with acquisition and sustainment life-cycle logistics activities that enhance fleet readiness and operational support.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Logistics Analyst provides logistics and maintenance support for Navy Combat Systems programs, including Planned Maintenance System (PMS), Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and 3M program requirements on the Logistics Management Services contract. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do

• Support the Navy’s Combat Systems Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Planned Maintenance System Management Information System (PMS MIS) by reviewing maintenance requirements and ensuring procedures support combat system readiness and NAVSEA technical guidance.
• Review and evaluate combat systems PMS requests from fleet personnel, identifying required updates to Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) and Maintenance Procedures (MPs).
• Serve as a liaison between fleet combat systems personnel, shipboard operators, and engineering organizations to communicate maintenance issues, technical questions, and recommended solutions.
• Review combat systems maintenance documentation, technical manuals, drawings, schematics, and system data to identify discrepancies and support procedure updates.
• Support maintenance programs for Navy combat systems and weapons systems, including AEGIS, SSDS, VLS, and other shipboard mission-critical systems.
• Assist with evaluating Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs), Field Changes (FCs), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to determine impacts to combat systems configuration, maintenance requirements, and procedures.
• Support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) efforts by assisting engineering teams with the development and validation of combat systems maintenance requirements for new and modified systems.
• Assist with reviewing contractor-developed combat systems PMS documentation and technical source data to ensure accuracy and alignment with Navy requirements.
• Coordinate with In-Service Engineering Activities (ISEAs), combat systems engineers, fleet maintenance personnel, and Navy technical stakeholders to support resolution of maintenance issues.
• Participate in combat systems fleet maintenance reviews and technical working groups to identify maintenance challenges and coordinate solutions.
• Support lifecycle sustainment activities for fielded Navy combat systems, including modernization efforts, obsolescence reviews, and maintenance improvements.
• Provide technical input to support combat systems readiness, weapons system availability, and fleet operational effectiveness.
• Bid and proposal support if requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
• HS Diploma required.
• At least three (3) years of experience providing combat systems maintenance or logistics expertise in a U.S. Navy or similar DoD environment.
• Must possess basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Must possess strong time management skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior U.S. Navy experience as an Electronics Technician (ET), Fire Controlman or Fire Controlman AEGIS (FC/FCA), Surface Sonar Technician (STG), or VLS-experienced Gunner's Mate (GM) is highly desired

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
• The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $70,304 - $74,747. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
