Coloplast Nurse Ireland, South East Region

This role would be ideal for someone living in or around the South Tipperary, Kilkenny, Waterford, North Cork area.

If you are a nurse with excellent clinical skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, we would love to hear from you. We are seeking someone to help develop and provide specialist Stoma, Bladder, and Bowel services within the community. Previous experience in these areas is an advantage, but not a requirement, as full training and support will be provided to help you succeed in the role.

A full driving license is required, and Coloplast can provide a company car or car allowance.

We are looking for a nurse who can work independently, is self-motivated, and has a winning mindset. They need to be a strategic thinker who wants to build on their commercial awareness and skills and has the confidence and courage to challenge.

The Role

  • Deliver professional and ethical care to patients
  • Support the patient pathway from hospital to home, providing home visits and community-based clinics
  • Undertake virtual consultations over telephone and video
  • Effectively and efficiently plan, manage, and organise caseload and time
  • Communicate effectively and provide feedback to patients, carers, and referring healthcare professionals
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with company, legal, and professional requirements
  • Instigate working practices to ensure collaborative working between different stakeholders, e.g., acute and community healthcare teams
  • Generate and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals across the region
  • Deliver educational support to fellow healthcare professionals
  • Undertake service audit/evaluation activities

Essential Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse – minimum 2 years post-registration
  • BSc Nursing degree or working towards
  • Stoma care experience is desirable but not essential
  • Sound interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Teaching experience
  • IT proficiency
  • Full driving license
