Chronic Care Commercial. Products, Marketing & Development. Continence Care
People living with spinal cord injury (SCI) represent the largest user segment within Continence Care and have long been a key focus for delivering value through innovative products and services. However, as healthcare systems, reimbursement models, and care pathways continue to evolve, a strategic question arises: Are we fully realizing the segment’s potential, or are there untapped opportunities to improve patient outcomes and drive growth?
In this project, you will collaborate closely with the Business Development team in Continence Care to assess the SCI landscape across selected markets and explore opportunities from both strategic and commercial perspectives.
The project scope can be tailored to align with your interests, strengths, and academic focus, ensuring a meaningful and personalized thesis experience. You will have the opportunity to challenge current assumptions, uncover fresh insights, and contribute to shaping future commercial strategies for an established yet dynamic market segment.
We are seeking students currently enrolled in a Master's programme with a strong academic focus on commercial, business, or healthcare disciplines. A solid academic foundation in these areas—supported by relevant coursework, research projects, or practical experience—will be highly beneficial for analyzing evolving market dynamics and identifying innovative growth opportunities.
Your project will be mentored by Luca Munforti, Business Development Manager, Continence Care, Chronic Care Commercial. For further details, please contact dklumu@coloplast.com or +45 49113106.

Coloplast develops products and services to make life easier for people with deeply personal and private medical conditions. These conditions are often associated with trauma and taboo. The more intimate the condition, the greater the requirement to come closer to customers, understand their world and develop solutions that are sensitive to their special needs. We call this intimate healthcare.
Closeness to all customers makes this possible. We listen to better understand needs and respond by finding new ways to do things better together. We lead the way by bringing the best ideas first and fast to market in the form of medical devices and service solutions.
Deeply private and personal medical conditions are our focus. Our passion to make a real difference to people’s lives is what drives and unites us. Our culture supports high ambitions and releases the full potential of our own people to achieve them.
Our business includes Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Advanced Wound Care, Interventional Urology and Voice & Respiratory Care. We operate globally, employing more than 16,500 people.
