TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time, 10-Month, Probationary Position
STARTING DATE: September 2026
SALARY RANGE: $49,470 - $79,820 per school year

DUTIES:
1. Provide engaging, hands-on instruction to students preparing for careers in the Collision Repair industry.
2. Teach industry standards, repair procedures, safety practices, and technical skills through authentic shop experiences.
3 Implement curriculum aligned with New York State Career and Technical Education standards and current industry practices.
4 Participate in curriculum development, advisory committee meetings, faculty meetings, and professional learning opportunities.
5 Coordinate guest speakers, field trips, and work-based learning opportunities.
6 Work in a team environment that fosters the philosophy of collaborative planning.
7 Communicate effectively with students, families, staff, and community partners.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of 4 years of paid industry experience in vehicle body repair and painting.
OR-
2. Associates degree or higher in vehicle body repair and painting, plus 2 years of paid industry experience in vehicle body repair and painting.
3. New York State Career and Technical Education Teacher Certification in Vehicle Body Repair and Painting (Grades 7�12) or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of current collision repair techniques, vehicle refinishing, shop safety, and industry practices.
5. Commitment to creating an engaging, student-centered learning environment.
6 Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
