College Recruitment Internship/CO-OP Opportunities

Huitt-Zollars is offering spring, summer, winter, and fall internship/CO-OP opportunities for 2027 for Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Surveying, Environmental Engineering, and more! These positions are for students who are attending accredited universities seeking paid real-world experience. Location: Offices in TX, CA, WA, NM, AZ, OK, FL, VA, PA, CO and OR

Internships are typically temporary full-time positions, and schedules are held to work Monday-Friday and established with your hiring manager. HZ office hours are Monday through Friday between 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Locations and specific internship openings will be provided during the recruitment process and may not be available at every HZ location. Intern Role Annual Performance Goals & Expectations:

• Gain an introduction to how your work and contributions add to Huitt-Zollars’ mission and core values.
• Routinely produces quality work and outcomes on their assignments, following HZ's QMS and other departmental quality control procedures.
• Assists with appropriate administrative and project support tasks supporting the needs of the project team and office.
• Takes on more responsibilities and actively seeks out opportunities to grow/learn beyond their typical key responsibilities that add value to the quality, efficiency, and/or profitability of a project(s), a team(s), or the Company’s performance.
• Develops technical proficiency in their area of work.
• HZ Core Value Competencies are also expected to be upheld for this position.
