The hourly rate is $16.80 which translates to $34,944.00 per year.
General Schedule:
Position typically works Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm in-office at UCO’s main campus in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Position Summary:
Responsible for performing a variety of duties for the college: facilitates day-to-day operations of the office; implements office and building procedures; coordinates and completes assigned projects; completes correspondence, forms, and reports; develops and maintains complex files while keeping information confidential; communicates with internal and external constituents by providing accurate information and connecting them to appropriate resources; assists leadership with projects and events; and manages calendars, appointments, scheduling, and meetings.
Department Specific Essential Job Functions:
- Reports directly to the CEPS Operations Manager.
- Executes routine procedures and takes direction from the supervisor and college leadership.
- Greets visitors as they enter the CEPS Dean’s Office and provides information and assistance.
- Answers telephone calls, email, and face-to-face inquiries appropriately.
- Collects and prepares outgoing mail for pick-up and distributes incoming mail.
- Assists with and/or manages college reports, projects (e.g., honor roll certificates), and events (e.g., meeting refreshments, materials, logistics).
- Coordinates and verifies the completion of student worker assignments and hours.
- Orders office supplies and follows protocols to maintain the functionality of office equipment.
- Serves as the building captain for the Education Building.
- Works competently and productively with minimal instruction and supervision.
- Demonstrates courteous and professional behavior and uses professional judgement.
- Keeps abreast of university and college policies and procedures.
- Uses discretion and protects the confidentiality of information.
- Updates skills when needed to meet the changing duties of the job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification/Knowledge/Experience Required:
2 years of college or secretarial experience
Qualification/Knowledge/Experience Preferred:
Experience in a higher education environment
3+ years of experience in office management, policies, and procedures
