Under the guidance of the Dean, the College Admissions Coordinator coordinates and implements recruitment activities and assists with admissions, enrollment, orientation, and other non-curricular activities for programs offered through the College of Nursing and School of Practical Nursing.
This position is ideal for an organized, personable professional who enjoys recruiting, working with prospective students, building relationships, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
Coordinate and implement student recruitment activities for the College of Nursing and School of Practical Nursing.
Assist with the admissions and enrollment process for prospective and accepted students.
Support student orientation and other non-curricular college activities.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with prospective students, applicants, students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
Communicate admissions and program information clearly and professionally.
Assist prospective students throughout the admissions process and provide exceptional customer service.
Manage multiple recruitment and admissions activities while meeting established deadlines.
Maintain confidentiality of student and applicant information.
Work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.
Represent the College and School of Practical Nursing in a professional and courteous manner.
Participate in recruitment events and other activities designed to promote nursing education opportunities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience required.
Previous college recruiting and/or admissions experience preferred.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
