Leidos is seeking a highly driven Collective Training Analyst ready to play a pivotal role in the critical mission of USSTRATCOM/J7 at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE. This is an opportunity to directly support national‑level readiness and shape the training that underpins some of the most consequential operations in the Department of Defense. An active TS/SCI is required.
Note: This position is part of a prospective contract and is contingent upon final award. Anticipated award date: August 2026.
What You’ll Do and Why It Matters:
As a Collective Training Analyst, you will be at the center of planning, preparing, updating, and executing USSTRATCOM’s most essential collective training events. Your expertise will help ensure the command — and its subordinate forces — remain ready for the full spectrum of strategic operations.
You will:
Drive major training events such as SLT, NC2 Demonstrations, and Joint Staff Nuclear Procedures Inspection (NPI) preparation, supporting USSTRATCOM staff, platforms, and subordinate commands.
Shape mission‑critical scenarios involving CCMDs, WHMO, NMCC, Allies, and other Government partners — including building, updating, and quality‑checking all training materials, injects, intelligence, operations orders, messages, and data collection tools.
Deliver high‑impact feedback through after‑action reviews, hotwash briefings, and comprehensive after‑action reports that drive continuous improvement.
Create essential training media including agendas, scenarios, operations orders, messages, and data collection forms.
Serve as an exercise expert — providing observer, trainer, assessor, facilitator, and role‑player support.
Guide and elevate junior team members to ensure high‑quality, timely deliverables for the Government.
Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with eligibility for NC2/ESI and Special Access Program (SAP) access (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
What You’ll Bring (Required):
You’ll succeed in this role if you bring deep operational insight, strong scenario‑development experience, and a passion for advancing joint collective training. Specifically, you must demonstrate:
12+ years of experience in: Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, or Global Strike.
Thorough understanding of USSTRATCOM mission sets, CJCS/USSTRATCOM Emergency Action Procedures (EAP), and/or end‑to‑end operations from National‑level decision making through unit‑level execution.
Experience developing and executing scenario‑based training modules.
Operational experience at a CCMD, Joint Staff, or Service MAJCOM including command center or battle staff duties.
Authoritative knowledge of joint collective training development and execution.
Ability to support and collaborate across the team to accomplish the mission.
7+ years in: Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations (including USSTRATCOM C2 platforms and CJCS/USSTRATCOM EAPs), Global Strike, Nuclear force planning, and/or Missile Threat Assessment — with a diverse spread of competencies across these areas.
Balanced team expertise ensuring coverage across multiple mission areas if individual experience is specialized.
