Collections Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Supervise, coach, counsel, participate in hiring and firing staff.
•Monitor collection calls for accuracy, FDCPA compliance, and successful collection call.
•Apply and enforce company and department policies in conjunction with dept manager.
•Produce collection/ production for Supervisor/ Management Review
•Successfully train subordinates.
•Responsible for the professional advancement and improvement.
•Handle escalated customer/ subordinate complaints
•Monitor and service 90 day/FPD buckets as needed.
•Directly assist dept manager in defusing any complaint or customer/debtor concerns
•Miscellaneous duties as assigned
•Extensive FDCPA knowledge and application of its rules and regulations
•Supervisory/ Team lead experience
•Ability to motivate staff to work as a team
•Ability to simultaneously talk and type
•Must be a Great at Multi-tasking and work well under pressure
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & LICENSES:
•High school diploma (or equivalent) or higher.
•Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the collection industry
•Knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing.
•Able to work any and all hours, including Weekends and evenings
•Ability to value collateral using Manheim/KBB
•Extensive knowledge of collection, repossession, and skip tracing
•Expert in negotiations
