About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
As a Collections Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for the proactive management of collections strategies to improve the effectiveness of collections activity and optimise performance across the debt portfolio. You will identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities, using data-led insights to drive strategy improvements and provide options and recommendations to adjust collection strategies to mitigate these risks.
This is a strategic role and is part of the Collections & Recoveries Leadership Team. You'll be expected to look beyond current approaches, challenge conventional thinking, and identify opportunities to improve collections outcomes, operational effectiveness, and customer experience.
This role will be highly rewarding for someone who enjoys influencing outcomes through strong stakeholder relationships, using data and insights to drive decision-making, and challenging existing approaches to achieve better results. You'll thrive on bringing people together, sharing ideas, and turning strategy into action, all while contributing to better outcomes for New Zealanders.
The midpoint of the salary band for this role is $119,161, appointment within the band will be based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme ( 9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.
