Collections Strategy Head

Intrum Hellas, part of the Intrum Group — Europe’s leading credit management company — is looking for an experienced and strategic Collections Strategy Head to join its Business Center of Excellence (Business CoE) in Athens.
This senior leadership role sits at the center of the company’s collections strategy and execution framework, translating portfolio recovery targets into actionable, data-driven strategies across operational teams. The role will work closely with Portfolio Management, Workout, Call Center and senior business stakeholders to enhance recovery performance, optimize segmentation and prioritization models, and drive operational alignment across the collections ecosystem.

What will you do:

• Design and develop collections strategy frameworks across amicable and legal recovery streams
• Translate annual and quarterly recovery targets into structured operational action plans
• Develop debtor segmentation, prioritization and contact strategies
• Partner with operational teams to align execution with portfolio and business objectives
• Drive cross-functional coordination across Portfolio CoE, Workout and Call Center functions
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, analytics capabilities and AI-enabled collections strategies
• Monitor portfolio performance trends and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights
• Support continuous optimization of collections methodologies, processes and recovery effectiveness

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in collections strategy, NPL management, banking, credit servicing or related financial services environments
• Strong understanding of collections operations, debt recovery and servicing strategies across multiple asset classes
• Proven analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with strong exposure to segmentation and performance management frameworks
• Experience working within regulated environments and understanding of the Greek legal recovery framework
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in complex and fast-paced environments
• Fluency in Greek and English
