The team
Within the Collections domain you will work as an Engineer II on critical applications that support our core debt collection processes. One of the key applications in this landscape is PowerCurve, where business rules, configurations and scripts define how collections strategies are executed in practice.

You operate at the intersection of IT and business, combining strong database expertise with functional understanding of the collections domain.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain PowerCurve functionality, including rule configuration and scripting
  • Translate functional requirements from the business into technical configurations
  • Develop, analyze and optimize Oracle database solutions (queries, performance, data structures)
  • Support incident resolution and root cause analysis within the Collections landscape
  • Work closely with product owners, analysts and fellow engineers in an agile environment
  • Ensure stability, correctness and compliance of mission‑critical collections processes

  • Strong experience with databases, specifically Oracle
  • Hands‑on experience with configuration and scripting in complex enterprise applications
  • Ability to understand and apply functional business logic, preferably within Collections or a similar domain
  • Comfortable working with both technical and functional stakeholders
  • A structured, quality‑driven way of working with attention for production stability

Location is Amsterdam but also in Leeuwarden so travelling minimum once every other week is expected.
