Job Description
Ogilvy seeks to recruit a Collections Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assigned accounts, following up on outstanding balances and ensuring the timely and effective collection of payments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize daily tasks effectively.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor assigned accounts throughout the collections process.
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and arrange payment solutions where appropriate.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely updates of account information.
- Negotiate and agree payment arrangements in line with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Monitor payment commitments and follow up as required.
- Handle customer queries related to outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
- Ensure all collection activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders where required to resolve account-related matters.
- Prepare and maintain relevant reports and documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of new tools, systems and initiatives related to the collections function.
