About the role:
As a Collection Officer, you will play an important role in negotiating and implementing solutions for our Finnish customers experiencing financial challenges. You will be part of a dedicated team and work closely with the debt collection process to ensure appropriate actions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You will join the Collection department, which consists of 14 employees across our six markets, all based at our office in Fornebu
Main responsibilities:
Negotiate good and sustainable solutions for customers experiencing financial challenges
Ensure that right measures are offered at the right time.
Assist Debt Collection Agency with information about the claim, including specifications, history and other relevant details.
Review disputes or objections with the Debt Collection agency.
Ensure cases are handled accurate and efficient, while following relevant laws and regulations.
Assess legal issues and familiarize oneself with relevant legislation concerning debt collection.
Contribute to analysis, KPI follow-up, and quality control within the department.
What you bring:
1–3 years of experience in debt collection or a similar role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Service-minded, detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
Fluent in Finnish and one other Scandinavian language (Norwegian, Swedish or Danish) and English
Education or background in law, economics, finance, or a related field is beneficial.
