About Our Client / About the Role

A Malaysian financing business is seeking a Collection Manager to lead a team of collections professionals, improve recovery results and maintain sound conduct across the arrears cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee early and late collections, repossession coordination, legal escalation and bad debt activity.
Plan collection approaches, track arrears and recovery measures, and adjust actions by delinquency stage.
Coach and assess a team of senior executives and executives, setting clear goals and reviewing performance.
Improve the use of collection tools and digital customer communication while maintaining fair treatment and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate branch and field activity, including weekend work when required by closing dates or performance needs.

Key Requirements

At least five years of relevant collections or credit experience, including at least three years in a managerial role.
Good knowledge of the Hire Purchase Act 1967 and responsible recovery practices.
Strong leadership, analysis, communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in hire purchase, vehicle finance or consumer lending is preferred.

Remuneration Package

RM6,000–RM8,000
