Job Description

Integral Federal is seeking a ColdFusion Developer to support the sustainment and enhancement of a mission-critical DISA human capital management application. The selected candidate will maintain and enhance a mature ColdFusion and Microsoft SQL Server code base, implement approved requirements, resolve production defects, support planned and expedited releases, and collaborate with business analysts, system administrators, testers, and Government stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a complex legacy environment with extensive business rules and dependencies. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, disciplined software-development practices, and the ability to understand existing code before recommending or implementing changes.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using Adobe ColdFusion and CFML.

· Analyze existing application modules, business rules, interfaces, and database dependencies.

· Implement enhancements, defect corrections, urgent fast-track changes, and regulatory updates.

· Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, scripts, and database interactions.

· Translate approved RFCs, user stories, and acceptance criteria into secure, maintainable code.

· Participate in requirements clarification and collaborate with the Business Analyst and Government stakeholders.

· Perform developer testing and defect resolution.

· Use Git-based source control and participate in merge requests and controlled release processes.

· Support Fortify and custom static-code scanning, remediate findings, and follow secure coding practices.

· Assist with weekly expedited releases and planned monthly production releases.

· Document code, technical decisions, module behavior, deployment considerations, and recurring support procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

· U.S. Citizen with active Secret clearance

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

· At least 7 years of software-development experience.

· At least 5 years of hands-on Adobe ColdFusion/CFML development experience.

· Strong experience maintaining and enhancing complex legacy applications.

· Strong Microsoft SQL Server development and troubleshooting experience.

· Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web-application development.

· Experience using Git-based source-control and code-review processes.

· Experience in diagnosing application, database, integration, and production-support issues.

· Ability to work independently, proactively take ownership of assigned work, and complete tasks with limited supervision.

· Ability to communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, system administrators, testers, and customer stakeholders.

Preferred:

· Experience supporting DISA or another Department of Defense organization.

· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server in development, test/UAT, and production environments.

· Experience with Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Fortify, or comparable DevSecOps tools.

· Familiarity with PKI, CAC authentication, SSO, and ICAM requirements.

· Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, ACAS/Tenable, SCAP, POA&Ms, and secure software-development requirements.

· Experience supporting Agile development, RFC-driven work, fast-track releases, and customer UAT.

· Experience documenting legacy business rules and supporting migration or system-modernization initiatives.

Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000
