Located 35km west of Toowoomba, the JBS Beef City Plant is part of the Beef City integrated feedlot, processing and farming facility. The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimising stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in southern hemisphere.

JBS Beef City employs more than 900 people and is recognised for producing high-quality grain-fed beef for customers across Australia and around the world.

We are currently recruiting for Cold Stores Labourers , positions are full time, Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday where available.

Entry level roles start at $1032.30 / week ( full time roles - guaranteed 38.75 hours/week) plus a shift allowance for afternoon and night shifts.

About You

• Interest in a position that involves manual handling, container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing.

• Previous labouring experience not required; all necessary training will be provided

• Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions

• Comply with, and contribute to, our highly developed WHS, Quality Assurance and Training programs

• Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work

• Good attendance and hard work will be rewarded with the opportunity to progress through the many career pathways available

• Willingness to receive a Q Fever vaccination
