About the Role

At JBS Australia, we are looking for reliable Cold Stores Labourers to join our team on a full-time basis. Working within our high-volume Hemmant Cold Stores Facility, you'll play an important role in maintaining safety, product quality and operational efficiency. Your daily duties will include order preparation, paperwork verification, loading and unloading containers, sorting products and general cold store cleaning. The standard rate for this role is $28.32 per hour and we offer various shift options including:

• Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 6am to 2pm
• Afternoon Shift | Monday to Friday | 2pm to 10pm (penalty rates apply)
• Night Shift | Sunday to Thursday | 10pm to 6am (penalty rates apply)

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team

• Attention to detail and sound numerical skills
• Physically fit (manual labour is required)
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for extended periods of time

• Flexibility with hours including availability to work overtime as required

About Us

JBS Australia is a part of the global JBS business, the largest animal protein business in the world, and the second largest food company, with operations in North America, South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Brisbane port and employs approximately 180 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re-loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.
