RELIABLE, HARD-WORKING COLD STORAGE WORKERS WANTED

We have ongoing opportunities for experienced Cold Storage warehouse workers across busy freezer and chilled distribution environments. These are genuine ongoing roles for people looking for consistent work and who can be relied upon as part of a team.

We have opportunities available for:

• Tugger Operators
• RF Scanner / Pick Packers
• Checkers
• Loaders / Unloaders

Previous experience working in a Cold Storage / Freezer warehouse is essential.

You’ll already understand the pace, conditions and safety requirements of working in chilled and freezer environments — and most importantly, you’ll be someone who can commit to your shifts and be counted on.

THE WORK MAY INCLUDE:

• Tugger operation
• RF scanning and order picking
• Palletising and wrapping
• Loading and unloading
• Container unloading
• Manual handling
• Working within chilled and freezer areas

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

• Proven experience in a Cold Storage / Freezer warehouse
• Previous warehouse, picking, scanning, tugger or labouring experience
• Confidence working in very cold environments
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work at a consistent pace
• Ability to safely perform manual handling duties
• Strong understanding of workplace safety

HOURS:

• Monday to Friday
• Ongoing, full-time hours available
• AM and PM shifts
• Flexibility for overtime when required

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous Cold Storage / Freezer experience is essential
• Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Strong verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to understand workplace instructions and safety procedures
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport
• Own PPE, including steel-capped safety boots
• Freezer clothing suitable for extremely cold environments preferred
• Current clean Victorian Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
