We are seeking a qualifiedNeurology Advanced Practice Provider(PA/NP)to join our outpatient team and provide care to patients at Atrium Health NeurologyEdgehill The APP wouldhospitalfollow up patients with a heavy emphasis on post-acute stroke care.
We invest in the professional and clinical growth of our Neurology APP team withnumerousprofessional,research, andacademic opportunities and are looking for someone that is eager to learn, driven, and motivated to provide the highest level of clinical care. The APP willparticipatein the education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates)and with our operational leaders and stroke programcoordinatorto help support transition of care initiatives Major responsibilities include providing both direct and indirect care for neurology hospital follow-ups in the ambulatory setting,workclosely with our inpatient team tofacilitatethe transition of careprocess,andtoengagewith other members of our interdisciplinary team to help drive quality initiatives and reduce readmissions.
Our Atrium Health Neurology team consists of over 60 physicians and 30+ APPs across Charlotte fostering an engaged and collaborative environment. Our established APP Leadership structure, alongside our Center for Advanced Practice, provides support, advocacy, andnumerousopportunities for professional growth while prioritizingwell-beingand cultural safety for our team.
Highlights of the position:
Providehospital follow-upneurology care to patients in the outpatient clinic setting with a focus on stroke
DesirableSchedule withoptionof4 or 5 daywork week.
We provide our APPs with acomprehensive onboarding experiencethat includesa customizedclinical and didacticorientation for first 10-12 weekswith MDs and APPs across the department and is then followed by ongoingclinicalsupport and educational opportunities.

Ideal candidate:
2+ years of experience as APP with experience in Neurology strongly preferred.
Strong clinical knowledge base with academic desire
