At ING, protecting our customers and the integrity of the financial system is a core priority. Our KYC (Know Your Customer) and Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) teams play a critical role in managing risk, meeting regulatory obligations, and continuously strengthening how we detect and prevent financial crime.
Our KYC Centre of Excellence (COE) team leads the first line implementation and execution of ING Australia’s KYC and FCP program, and we’re looking for a COE KYC & FCP Lead to join our Senior Leadership team.
In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction for KYC governance, analytics and program delivery, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, global standards and risk appetite. Reporting to the Head of KYC/FCP, you’ll lead a high-performing team and oversee a complex portfolio of regulatory, operational and change initiatives across the KYC function.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine strategic oversight with execution — driving data-led insights, strengthening controls, and embedding continuous improvement. You’ll also represent the function at senior forums, influencing decision-making across local and global stakeholders.
This is a permanent role based in Sydney.
