The Codes and Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting Polyglass’ Codes and Compliance Department. Position serves as primary and organizational interface with the Codes and Compliance Manager and Director of Codes & Compliance. Position also serves as interface with testing agencies, building officials, and third-party approval laboratories. Assist in departmental activities related to but not limited to, the production/revision of Specifications, application details, other related as needed.

Responsibilities:
Participates in the Code Approval process through analysis of Polyglass products and competitor systems to obtain system approvals that maximize the position of Polyglass in all potential marketplaces.
Develops workflows to create sustainable systems and processes as they relate to Code Approvals.
Assists in maintaining the Codes intranet site by organizing files, uploading test reports, adding metadata tags, etc. as directed by the Codes and Compliance Manager.
Reviews all draft reports and NOA’s for accuracy, grammar, spelling and punctuation prior to submittal.
Participates as needed with all Code approval projects and budgets with testing agencies Nationally and Internationally. (FM, UL, Miami-Dade, ICC, etc.)
Works with all Code approval agencies to ensure compliance as directed by immediate Supervisor.
Engages others in constructive debate to explore alternative actions.
Communicate effectively and concisely in oral and written messages.
Effectively plans and organizes work to get efficient and effective results.
Operates pro-actively, anticipating possible problems, opportunities and challenges.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in MIS, Data Analytics or related field.
This position requires knowledge of product testing and governing Building Codes related to the roofing and waterproofing industries.
Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
10% travel required
Experience with AutoCAD, MS Project and Data Analytics tools a plus
