COD Town Runner

Ergon Marine & Industrial Supply, Inc., has an opening for a COD Town Runner at its Vicksburg location.

This COD Town Runner position is responsible for purchasing town items needed from stores in Vicksburg for customer orders.

Dispatch Town Runner Responsibilities include the following:

• Take special care of company property which includes the company vehicle and credit card
• Purchase town items and deliver to the appropriate department being sure to verify the accuracy of items purchased
• Purchased items are to be priced and packaged for delivery to customer.
• Returns are to be taken to the store in a timely manner
• Ensure proper handling of receipts to include name of customer vessel or reason for purchase
• Ensure proper handling of receipts (every receipt MUST be accounted for)
• Complete Vehicle Inspection Checklist at the beginning of each shift
• Assist other departments as assigned and time permits
• Must be able to work the following shift: Monday thru Friday, 6am until 6pm

Dispatch Town Runner Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's License
• Good communication and organizational skills, detail oriented

The person selected must be able to work in any environment (heat, cold, rain, etc.).

Any offer of employment will be contingent on a routine background check, a pre-employment drug screen, and an acceptable motor vehicle report.
