Qualifications
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES
- It is the responsibility of the Cocktail Server to obtain an assigned section/station from the Food & Beverage Shift Supervisor at the start of the work shift.
- The Cocktail Server receives drink and/or food orders from guests by up selling and suggestive selling by answering any questions about the specials offered.
- Must know how relay the orders to the Bartender and/or culinary staff by swiping the micros card.
- Responsible for serving the order to the guest, collecting money, and making change.
- The Cocktail Server is accountable for observing guests to ensure their expectations are exceeded.
- The Cocktail server will be RBS certified and practice this knowledge daily.
- Accountable for maintaining, stocking and cleanliness of their assigned sections, also displaying teamwork with co-workers when needed in other sections.
- The Cocktail Server is responsible for all monies collected, waste tickets, comp tickets and charge tickets needed for their drop procedure at the end of the shift.
- The Cocktail Server may be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training.
- Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREREQUISITES
General: Must be age 21 or older. Must qualify for Tribal Non-Gaming License.
Education:High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the work location.
Experience:Knowledge of bar drinks and wines helpful. Must be outgoing, with a pleasant personality and strong sense of guest service. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Physical: Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length. Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel and can lift trays of drinks frequently weighing up to 20 pounds
