Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred. Applicant must have at least six consecutive months of work experience with the same employer and no additional gaps in employment greater than six months with the last 36 months. If applicant was laid-off, providing eldercare or childcare, the six month gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history criteria will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Preventive maintenance program for all farm vehicles and farm equipment. Performs generator test runs each week.HousePM’sprior to flock placements.Reports machinerydefects or malfunctions to management. Coordinates major repairs with external vendors & drives to pick up parts and supplies. (50%)
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments; repairs or replaces defective parts;reportsmachinery defects or malfunctions to managementWeekly check of propane levels and water usage. Monitor formaldehyde levels(20%)
Assistwith monthly safety meetings andoverseescompletion of the items listed in the quarterly safety reportMonthly fire extinguisher/emergency lighting checksPerformspurchasingtasks as assigned (Creating/Receiving PO’s) processing purchasesin ControlPay System,assits complex manager with Capital ConstructionProjects) (10%)
Connects electrical wiring and cables; installs lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, wall boxes, and terminal boards (10%)
Respirator certification isrequiredandmaintainedby testing on an annual basis. Must beableto achieve andmaintaina respirator certification: TM’s must remain clean shaven during all scheduled work hours.
