This position provides an opportunity for utilization of coatings knowledge, technical skills, and cost estimating skills, while working collaboratively with multiple teams to improve the WTD Conveyance and Treatment systems through innovative problem solving, project planning and design, from inception to completion of multiple simultaneous projects.
We are dedicated public servants whose mission is to protect public health and enhance the environment by collecting and treating wastewater while recycling valuable resources for the Puget Sound region. This mission runs through all our work that requires tackling interesting and challenging projects. We instill a supportive work culture that is open to new ideas and methods.
Candidates will be involved in conveyance projects, pump station upgrades, and treatment plant upgrades.
The following are on-going or upcoming projects: Corrosion Repairs On-Call. Joint Sealant and Grouting On-call. Roofing project. West Point Raw Sewage Pump Replacement. West Point RAS Piping Rehab. West Point Gate Replacement. Mouth of the Duwamish CSO. Carnation TP Membrane Tank Painting. Brightwater TP Membrane Tank Failed Coating Remediation.
This position follows a hybrid work model, blending remote and in-person work.
