Soccer Shots New Orleans is looking for a full-time Coaching & Training Coordinator to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional looking to build a meaningful career in youth development, coaching, and leadership.
This isn't a desk job.
You'll spend most of your week leading engaging Soccer Shots sessions for preschool and elementary-aged children at schools and parks throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Equipped with our industry-leading curriculum, you'll also begin mentoring new coaches, helping them develop into confident, high-quality instructors while supporting our coaching staff alongside our Coaching Support team.

What You'll Do
Deliver Exceptional Soccer Shots Sessions
- Coach 20+ Soccer Shots sessions each week.
- Create an energetic, encouraging, and safe environment for every child.
- Deliver our curriculum with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, teachers, and school partners.
Train & Develop Coaches
- Assist with on-field training for newly hired part-time coaches.
- Demonstrate best coaching practices and serve as a role model.
- Provide encouragement, feedback, and ongoing support to help coaches succeed.
- Help maintain the high coaching standards Soccer Shots is known for.
Support Coaching Operations
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Coaching Support team.
- Assist with coach communication and day-to-day coaching needs.
- Utilize Connecteam and Monday.com to stay organized and support team operations.
- Help ensure coaches have the tools and information they need to be successful.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with preschool or elementary-aged children
- Experience coaching, teaching, camp counseling, childcare, or similar roles
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Schedule
- Full-time salaried position
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Some evening availability required
- Saturday morning programming available with additional compensation
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time salaried position
- Gas reimbursement
- 10 days of Paid Time Off, plus an additional PTO day for every year on staff
