Due to the consistent growth in our all our branches across Australia (Eagle Farm QLD, Prestons NSW, Craigieburn Vic and Belmont WA), we have opportunities for suitably experienced and qualified Coach Body Builders to join our team. The role will answer to the National Production Manager and will be another integral member of our already busy operations.
Some of the duties will be but are not limited to-
• Assist in the pre-delivery inspections and preparations of new buses.
• Modification of buses and installation of genuine and non-factory accessories
• Ability to design and fabricate solutions for the installation of non-factory accessories.
• Vehicle assembly according to technical specifications particularly interior vehicle finish.
• Installing passenger seats in accordance with ADR and seat manufacturer specifications.
We are looking for someone who –
• Has MIG welding skills and are required - TIG welding skills desirable.
• Is competent on Sheet Metal Guillotine and Pan Brake Folder.
• Has a willingness work outside of trade skill set assisting other trades with some duties where required.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is self-motivated and dedicated to high quality work and being part of a growing team.
• Ideally will have either a recognised trade certificate (Coach Builder/Motor Body Builder, or other automotive trade qualifications) or having demonstrated experience in the bus industry will be highly regarded.
• MR Licence desirable as minimum
• Forklift Ticket desirable
• Demonstrate a neat and organised approach to work, a willingness to follow our guidelines.
• Show a dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.
