The FCA Coach serves as both a sports leader and a spiritual mentor, responsible for coaching athletes in their sport while engaging, equipping, and empowering them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.The Coach embodies FCA's vision and core values -- Integrity, Serving, Teamwork, and Excellence -- by developing athletes on the field, investing in their character off the field, and fostering a Christ-centered team culture.
MINISTERIAL DUTIES
These responsibilities are critical to the FCA mission and this position plays a vital role in our ministry. FCA expects all functions and responsibilities outlined below to be carried out with a heart surrendered to serving God as a form of worship.

Qualifications
At FCA Volleyball Club, we are committed to investing in our coaches both on and off the court. As a coach, you'll receive ongoing support, quality resources, and opportunities to grow as a leader while making a lasting impact in the lives of athletes.
Team practices twice per week (November–April)
Approximately two single-day tournaments each month (January–April)
One multi-day tournament during February or March
Most tournaments are within a two-hour drive of Harford County, Maryland
Coaches training meetings throughout the season (October, December, February, and May)
Bi-weekly Coaches Bible Study (November–April)
We want our coaches to feel equipped and supported throughout the season. Coaches receive:
FCA Volleyball Club coaching apparel, including a polo, backpack, sweatshirt or jacket, and t-shirt
Access to the Snipback video system for game film, statistics, and player development (for specific teams only)
Reimbursement for required coaching memberships and background checks
Hotel accommodations covered for club-required overnight tournaments (if applicable)
