Our Strategy and Transformation team is looking for a Co-op Student to assist with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of Risks across Metrolinx and support a strong risk culture. You will track industry/market trends to identify key insights and work with cross functional teams to investigate new business opportunities and strategic business problems, conducting analysis and developing insights and recommendations.
What will I be doing?
Provide a variety of administrative and/or technical services to support the business which may include preparing reports, memos, meeting minutes, documents; maintains and updates electronic filing systems; provides record management services
Assist in the development of organizational strategy and strategic planning cycle, long-term strategy and annual plans and aiding in the preparation of divisional business performance reporting and facilitation of risk workshops and discussions with client groups across Metrolinx
Develop spreadsheets, forms, and databases to input, track, store and retrieve data
Support the leadership team in performing analysis and presentation of information on risks in the electronic risk tracking system
Work with internal and external partners to collect data, respond to queries and exchange information
Assist and support to staff in a variety of areas, including gathering, inputting, organizing, and interpreting data for reports/presentations/meetings/projects
Prepare agendas, coordinate, attend, and take minutes for daily technical/operational meetings
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
Must be enrolled in a full-time accredited co-op program in order to be considered for this position.
Must be at least 15 years of age before starting employment
