Key Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in the routine activities of the funds, including monthly bank reconciliations, preparation of the monthly adjusting entries, and daily treasury activities of the private fund,
  • Prepare reconciliations, capital calls and cashflow forecasts
  • Assist in the preparation of investor reports and asset management reports in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Prepare monthly Net Asset Values for multiple funds
  • Responsible for the accuracy of data utilized for performance measurement, analytics and regulatory compliance
  • Work with team members to improve operational efficiency and client services
  • Respond to inquiries and requests from other departments
  • Assist in the reporting and ongoing review of operational metrics
  • Work with internal and external clients in a processional and timely manner; being able to respond to and resolve queries or escalate where necessary
  • Support the Finance and Operations team with other tasks as requested.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Must have completed intermediate accounting course
  • Outstanding academic performance, demonstrated by high grades
  • Work experience in a financial institution an asset

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, to adapt quickly, prioritize and manage concurrent processes and reporting requirements while meeting tight deadlines
  • Must have strong/advance skills in Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent follow-up skills
