Your role at Clorox:
*This position is part-time, remote, up to 20 hours per week during business hours*
As a Data Engineer Co-Op at our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies within the Azure stack. You’ll specifically collaborate with the Finance Transformation Team, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to impactful data engineering and machine learning projects. If you’re passionate about data, analytics, AI, and cloud technologies, with an opportunity to learn business data acumen, this role is perfect for you!
In this role, you will:
Quality Assurance (QA) Tasks
Assist in identifying and resolving QA bugs related to data pipelines and processes.
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Pipeline Engineering
Participate in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines.
Implement data transformations, data cleansing, and ETL processes.
Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance pipeline efficiency.
Small Feature Development
Take ownership of small features within the data pipeline.
Write code to handle data ingestion, processing, and storage.
Independent Project
Lead a small independent project related to data engineering.
Choose a topic of interest (e.g., optimizing pipeline performance, automating data validation).
Present your findings and recommendations to the team.
