This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.

Maryland Environmental Service (MES) is seeking to fill multiple Co-Op positions at MES Headquarters in Millersville, Maryland and various field sites that MES operates or manages on behalf of diversified clients across the state.

The Co-Op program will provide students with practical work experience to apply concepts and theories learned through their academic program, help students develop professional skills and networks, and support employers in identifying and training future talent.

Program Structure:
--Duration: Can last throughout college enrollment, not to exceed 3 years.
--Work Schedule: Full-time during Summer; Part-time option during semesters.
--Enrollment: Rolling

Estimated Pay Range:

$15.00 - $20.17/hourly

Minimum Requirements:

Students must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, must have completed at least one year of academic coursework, and have a minimumGPA2.5 or higher.

Students are expected tomaintainacademic and professional standards, including attendance andtimeliness, meaningfully complete assigned tasks, and actively engage in program events and activities

Students who drive MES vehicles will be required to have a valid driver's license with less than five (5) points.

Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
