A DAY IN THE LIFE...

  • Project Leading Entity: Make vs Buy Analysis and Review: Leads and ensures that the right resources are gathered for a Make-or-Buy Analysis. Ensures that all projects outsourced undergo a review/ re-assessment of Make-or-Buy analysis with the relevant business. Responsible for preparation of Make vs. Buy with inputs from cross-functional team.
  • Project Leading Entity: Sourcing Management: Identification and validation of potential Contract Manufacturers (new or existing for Co-manufacturers/Co-fillers/Co-packers) for a particular product. Leads the capability assessment process, including coordination of required assessment and audits, and ensures selection of best option.
  • Site Leading Entity: Contract Management: Ensures establishment of Confidentiality Agreement, Letter of Intent and Complete Contract Manufacturing Agreement. Ensures timely review of Contract Manufacturing Agreements (Licence to Produce)
  • Site Leading Entity/Project Leading Entity: Strategic Management: Creates the portfolio of Contract Manufacturers based on the NPP AOA business needs. Defines contract manufacturers segmentation according to strategic relevance (transactional, strategic, integrated , ...) and builds appropriate sourcing relationships in partnership with Portfolio Development Manager.   • Ensures successful industrialisation of products to be outsourced. (Project Leading Entity)
  • Leading the coordination of all Category specific compliance requirements (Project Leading Entity)
  • Leads or supports Annual Business Review depending on type of Co-Man (Site Leading Entity)
  • Ensures detailed budget is done per outsourcing project and ensures that actual expenses are within the budget limits agreed with the Business. (Site Leading Entity )
  • Ensures price negotiations represent NPP AOA interested and coordinates TPs price negotiations for all Co-Mans (Site Leading Entity)
  • Reports to Market Management & RSA on the status of Security program throughout the organization considering effectiveness and recommendations for improvements. Such updates take into account the results of the Company's audit activities and any recommendations.
  • Site Leading Entity: Operations Management: Leads regular meetings with the Contract Manufacturers to assess performances as per the agreed scorecard (quality, cost and service). Ensure adherence to Nestlé principles and policies as well as local laws and regulations. Ensure compliance to health, food safety and regulatory requirements of all products manufactured. Ensures that root causes analysis and detailed action plans are put in place to close gaps. Leads exception management [unforeseen issues that may rise] meetings with Businesses and with Co-Manufacturers. Ensures that mid and long term capacity plans are reviewed based on latest demand planning at least on a monthly basis. Ensures action plans are put in place to manage any inbalance between demand and supply. Manage ME opportunities.
  • Coordinates with other markets split of responsiblities in case of Contract Manufacturer serving multiple markets.
  • Site Leading Entity: Exit / Exception Management: Ensures that the protocols agreed in the Contract Manufacturing agreement for the exit management are effectively followed. Manages all the phases of exiting the contract, while ensuring the required service, quality and cost. Ensures resolution of critical issues that may occur as a consequence of the hand over.
  • Site Leading Entity: When relevant, ensure development of Contract Manufacturing management team, through performance management, career development, succession planning and coaching.

ARE YOU A FIT?

  • Experience in Factory Production and Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated capability to influence a large group (incl. remote team management)
  • Proven track record in delivering results through others, functional leadership and complex stakeholders management
  • Cross-Functional Management/ Project Management experience
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, practices and tools (e.g TPM, LEAN)
  • Experience in external stake holder management, including highly developed negotiation skills
