Co-Head of Advisory Portfolio Analytics

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Co-Head of Advisory Portfolio Analytics to help shape the strategic direction of our global portfolio analytics capability.

This is a senior leadership opportunity within Global Advisory, focused on developing innovative analytics, strengthening portfolio-based advice and delivering high-quality solutions for our Private Bank and Wealth/Retail businesses. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, regional teams to enhance the Aladdin Wealth platform and create compelling, insight-led client services.

The role combines investment expertise, quantitative analysis, technology and stakeholder leadership. It’s an opportunity to influence how portfolio analytics supports better client outcomes across multiple markets—where sound analysis meets practical delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for the global Advisory Portfolio Analytics team and develop innovative analytical frameworks and tools in collaboration with BlackRock and the Aladdin Wealth team.
• Lead the integration of investment content, portfolio analytics and stress-scenario capabilities into the advisory client journey.
• Oversee business-as-usual portfolio analytics, including data-quality reviews, root-cause investigations and resolution of operational issues affecting booking centres and front-office teams.
• Provide subject-matter expertise for model validation and enhancement across existing and new investment products, working with product, modelling and platform teams.
• Collaborate with Product, COO, Transformation, IT, Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to improve advisory processes, platform stability and user experience.
• Build a collaborative culture of analytical excellence by mentoring colleagues, connecting specialists across regions and supporting the rollout of portfolio analytics into new booking centres.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline; an advanced degree and professional qualifications such as CFA or FRM are preferred.
• Significant experience - 12 or more years - in portfolio management, portfolio analytics or a related financial-services discipline.
• Demonstrable leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing or leading high-performing teams and influencing across regions.
• Strong quantitative analysis, financial modelling and model-validation capabilities, with a sound understanding of investment products, market dynamics and risk management.
• Practical experience with analytical tools such as Python, R or SQL, alongside an understanding of data visualisation and data-quality management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain complex investment and analytical concepts clearly to technical, business and client-facing audiences.
