About the Role

At Sparkways, we value both Co-educators (Cert III minimum) and Diploma Educators equally—there is no difference in seniority. Due to funding, there are some differences in duties and pay rates. Many of our Co-educators hold Diploma or Degree qualifications.

Greater Beveridge Kindergarten – Dingo Group

Co-Educator (Cert III minimum)

  • Status: Ongoing Part-Time
  • Hours: 17.5 hours per week
  • Days: Wednesday & Friday
  • Session hours with children: 8:45 AM – 4:15 PM
  • Includes paid non-contact/planning time
  • Cert III rate – up to $27.87 per hour with paid time off during term breaks

  • Join our relief team on your days off to increase your hours and pay
  • Apply for additional part-time positions as they become available

We Want to Meet You If You:

  • Are an experienced and qualified Educator
  • Have recent experience working in a sessional kindergarten setting
  • Have experience supporting 3–4-year-old children, including children with additional needs
  • Can support children’s learning through play-based, child-led programs
  • Are confident writing observations and learning stories (Storypark experience preferred)
  • Enjoy working as part of a friendly, child-centred team
  • Bring a positive and energetic attitude
  • Are looking for part-time work with school-term hours
  • Want to work close to your community
  • Are interested in ongoing learning and career growth

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
