The Senior Computer Network Operator & Developer supports advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) by providing technical execution, engineering expertise, and tool development in a mission-focused environment.

What You'll Do

SIXGEN is actively seeking candidates to support technical execution of Computer Network Operations (CNO) in a cutting edge mission environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support regular CNO activities
  • Provide technical and engineering support in the exploitation of commercial network infrastructure and computer systems
  • Support the research and development of tools and new concepts for operations

Technology proficiency includes:

  • In-depth knowledge of Linux CLI
  • In-depth knowledge of network design/architecture
  • Experience with network analysis
  • Wide range of scripting skills across Bash and Python
  • Strong critical thinking skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of data forensics is a plus

Education requirements include one of the following:

  • No degree and 10+ years of experience
  • Associate degree and 7+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
  • Masters degree and 2+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)
  • Doctorate and 1+ years of experience (Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Operations, Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Assurance, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.)

Salary range is dependent on experience and can range from $190,000 per year to $290,000 per year.
