Job Description

  • Responsible for performing CNC machine setup operations, including self-inspection and working with small, high-precision components.
  • Editing and optimizing G-Code programs for mass production processes.
  • Ensuring proper and stable machine operation immediately following setup completion or offset adjustments.
  • Performing basic part programming using SolidCAM.
  • Developing work plans and machining processes for company products, including optimization of cycle times, tooling, and raw material utilization.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing preventive and routine machine maintenance as required.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering blueprints.
  • Operating precision and automated measuring instruments to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Training and mentoring employees, while collaborating closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Engineering departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior CNC Setup Technician, preferably with STAR, DECO-EVO, and TORNOS machines.
  • Experience operating and setting up 7-axis CNC machines or higher and conventional turning machines; significant advantage for experience with Swiss-Type machines
  • Proven experience in CNC turning operations (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience working with Swiss-Type CNC machines
  • Experience in precision machining within the Medical Devices industry (mandatory).
  • Proven experience performing Full Set-Up processes independently (mandatory).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience in G-Code programming (mandatory).
