About the role

As a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer you will develop programs to control machining or processing of metal parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at Monfalcone, Italy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze technical drawings, dimensional tolerances, and manufacturing requirements;
• Define machining sequences and workpiece setups;
• Develop CNC programs for machine tools using CAD/CAM software;
• Simulate and validate machining processes using VERICUT software;
• Manage digital tool lists through Zoller TMS tool management software;
• Define machining strategies and tooling solutions to achieve required geometries and surface finishes;
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure manufacturability during the design phase;
• Help assess handling and safety aspects related to machining operations and contribute to the preparation of work instructions;
• Work with the CNC Programming Lead to implement new tools and machining technologies;
• Provide technical support to machine operators and oversee critical machining activities on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience;
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; or Technical High School Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or related disciplines;
• Knowledge of Siemens or Fanuc CNC programming languages;
• Experience with CAD/CAM systems, CATIA V5.
• Familiarity with machining simulation software, VERICUT;

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base annual salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be €37.000 to €48.500.
