CNC Process Engineer

In Shanghai, China

EXCITING ASSIGNMENTS

• Inquiry stage: Based on the customer's drawings, determine the product processing steps, equipment, and processing time, and assess the processing cost
• Prepare relevant documents (such as process documents, work instructions, etc.) according to the requirements of the ISO9001 system
• Develop efficient and high-quality product processes and machining programs (three-axis or five-axis machining center programs and lathe machining programs)
• Responsible for designing fixtures related to the product manufacturing process (having this skill is preferred, but not required)
• Responsible for guiding and controlling the entire manufacturing process (e.g., common processes such as turning, milling, grinding, EDM, lapping, surface treatment, etc.)
• Responsible for solving process problems encountered during production and processing, ensuring smooth processing operations, and providing on-site guidance
• Be responsible for optimizing product processes, improving product quality and production efficiency, and reducing product costs
• Familiar with the NPI (new product introduction) process, responsible for the trial production process of new products, and assist other departments in developing new products

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Major in mechanical engineering, numerical control, mold manufacturing, or related fields, familiar with various geometric tolerances and technical requirements of product drawings
• Familiar with the processing capabilities, ranges, and characteristics of various machining equipment (CNC horizontal/vertical lathes, 3-axis machining centers, 5-axis machining centers, EDM, and various grinding machines)
• With over 3.5 years of experience in machining processes and related product processing techniques/programs (a must-have is proficiency in three-axis machining center programs or lathe machining programs, with additional skills in both turning and milling programs, as well as five-axis programming being a plus), experience in single-piece and small-batch processes and programs is preferred. Possess strong manufacturing knowledge, with the ability to design and identify risks in the product processing process and implement effective countermeasures
• Familiar with Fanuc or Siemens 840D CNC system
• Proficient in using 3D drawing and programming software (CAD or UG or other program software) and office software
• Able to read English drawings
