CNC Operator – Day Shift

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Starting Pay: $17–$19/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–5:30 PM
Paid Breaks & Lunch

We are looking for CNC Operators who want to start a career in machining.

This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing team on day shift, learn CNC machining skills, and develop toward a long-term career as a CNC Machinist. Candidates with CNC operating experience who are motivated to learn and advance are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials and finished parts.
• Monitor machines during production.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production requirements.
• Learn CNC machine setup and operation.
• Learn basic CNC program adjustments as skills develop.
• Assist with troubleshooting machining and production issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Work with machinists and other team members to meet production and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC Operator experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to learn CNC machining.
• Basic understanding of CNC machines and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read basic blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Career-minded and motivated to learn.
• Works well with others.
• Professional attitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
