Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team in Houston, Texas. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components for compressor and industrial equipment applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in a machine shop environment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines including lathes and mills according to production requirements
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and setup sheets
• Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor machine operations and report equipment or quality issues to supervisors
• Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Work overtime and Saturdays when required to meet production schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous CNC operator or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Basic understanding of machining processes and shop safety
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods during shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment
